What is the hinges’ application, where, and how can it be used?

Handrail hinges are used to transition your handrail from a level run to an angled (or stair) run without needed complex bevel cuts. For standard transitions from a level to stair run, use a Stair Transition hinge. To end your handrail after a stair run use a Stair End hinge. If you have an inside corner right before your stair run, use a Stair Corner hinge.

Does the Stair End Hinge come with an end cap?

No, the end cap is sold separately and should be purchased as an additional component.

Can I use your hinges with custom handrail?

This is achieved through an electrochemical process that converts the aluminum surface into aluminum oxide using sulfuric acid and a controlled electrical current.

Is anodized aluminum hard to clean?

Cleaning anodized components is easy.

Use a Neutral Cleaner: Use mild dish soap or detergent with a pH between 6 and 8. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners, as they can damage the anodized coating.

Test a Small Area First: Before full application, clean a small, inconspicuous spot to ensure the cleaner doesn't cause discoloration or damage.

Clean Thoroughly and Rinse: Use a soft sponge or non-scratch cloth to clean the surface, ensuring all areas are addressed to prevent contaminant buildup. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with water to remove any residue.
