Wipe down the railings to remove dust, dirt, and fingerprints. For tougher grime, a vinegar solution (equal parts vinegar and water) can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and steel wool, as these can damage the surfaces. Remember to rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.

Can I use side mount posts on my concrete deck?

Our side mount posts are designed specifically for wood structures and are not intended for use on concrete or stone surfaces.

Can side mount posts be used on stairs?

Side mount posts can be used on stairs, but not in every situation. They work best with closed (skirted) stairs, but we recommend you reach out to a project estimator to help walk you through the ideal configuration for your project.

Do I need to tap holes for tensioners on your posts?

Signature Series Posts are pre-tapped for our tensioners, whereas Venture Series Posts have the tensioning technology integrated directly into the post.
