Securely mount your Signature, Venture, or Summit series posts to your wood deck or floor with structural screws. Most projects call for 4-1/2" screws. See details below.

Posts MUST be anchored to project structural frame (joists, blocking, etc.), and all 3" of mounting screw threading should be engaged in structural material.
If mounting directly into your structural material, use the 3-1/2" screws. If mounting through non-structural material (veneer, trim, etc.), use 4-1/2" screws.
It is the installer's responsibility to ensure that the supporting structure is able to handle the sustained cable rail tension and withstand a concentrated load.
