How to Cut Stainless Steel Handrail Step-by-Step
Step 1: Measure & Mark Your Cut Lines
Once you put on your safety gear, assemble your tools. Take your tape measure and marker and measure your cut lines.
Step 2: Cut Your Handrails
Turn on your saw and, once it reaches the desired speed, hold it firm and apply steady pressure, ensuring the speed remains slow to help prevent discoloration as you make each cut. Repeat this step for each of your handrails.
Step 3: De-burr & Polish
Take your hand file and deburr each cut end, rotating the handrail to achieve an even finish. If you spot any signs of discoloration, use your buffer pad to remove it. Polish and buff each handrail to achieve your desired results.
