The Cable Bullet Driver is precision-engineered to securely install Cable Bullet tensioners without damage. Its custom-tooled design ensures a precise fit for smooth, reliable installation.

Easier Installation with a Thoughtful Design :

• Sacrificial design prevents excessive torque from damaging internal threading on the tensioner body
• Included in every applicable installation kit
• Compatible with any standard ½ in. chuck drill—never use with an impact driver
• Each driver is rated for 80 installations in softwood and 30 in hardwood—large projects may require additional drivers

DIY Skill Level Recommended:

Beginner: Little to no DIY experience needed—utilizes simple techniques

Application:

Recommended for interior, inland exterior, and coastal exterior applications

If you are installing Cable Bullet Tensioners, yes, you will need the Bullet Driver. The only cases where you would not need the driver are if you are using the Venture Series or Summit Series, as the tensioning technology is integrated into the post/rails and does not require the tensioning Bullet.
Cable Bullet Drivers are included in tensioner multi-packs.
